Planted in Hamilton, 225 John St. S.

Thursday August 15, 6:30 pm

Beth Jacob Synagogue is alarmed by the suffering of Attawapiskat, an indigenous community in Northern Ontario facing a long-term water supply, treatment, and distribution crisis.

In collaboration with local kosher, vegan, gluten-free restaurant Planted in Hamilton, Beth Jacob has arranged a fundraiser for those affected.

With live music performed by Beth Jacob’s Rabbi Hillel Lavery-Yisraeli, and dance by Eshe Yildiz of Mahasti- The Bellydance Emporium, the incentive to attend is high. And with all dessert proceeds committed to Attawapiskat, attendees know their participation benefits much more than their sweet tooth.
