Position: Synagogue Manager

Beth Jacob Synagogue is looking for a dynamic Synagogue Manager to join our vibrant 140-year-old community. We seek someone who brings their enthusiasm and professional expertise to our dedicated, warm, and action oriented, conservative Jewish community. The right person will have a combination of community management experience, and be a warm, friendly, and professionally competent individual committed to our articulated values and goals.


Demonstrated experience in leadership position in a non-for-profit organization.

Job Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Synagogue Manager of Beth Jacob Synagogue is to ensure that the various operations, including the facilities, staff and office, are well aligned.  The Synagogue Manager oversees a range of activities including the office/house/facilities; coordinates programming and communication; manages and archives board minutes; coordinates membership information, cemetery, security, and catering activities.

Salary: $50,000 + CAD  PT/FT Availability

Work Week and Hours:  A typical work week is between 30-35 hours. Hybrid work options available. Part-time hours negotiable.
